Just this morning I heard on I believe it was the FOX news network that there are some who feel that Oprah is a traitor to the womens' movement. She whom they admit was a champion to many female causes is now a traitor because she aligned herself with Senator Obama. Did it ever occur to then that she is a black woman who realizes that she is black and as a woman she realizes that Obama is a strong black man who is no less than any other person if not better than any other person running for president of these United States of America. She doesn't have to vote for a female just because she is a female. The goes for her not having vote for Obama just because he is black. There are many whites who will vote for the candidate they so desire only cause they are white, but we will not get in to that right now.
McCain picked Sarah Palin to stir up division amongst the ranks of women. He knew that he could not use race overtly or it would backfire. He figured that since Obama didn't pick Hillary Clinton for his Vice Presidential running mate if he used Sarah Palin it would pull in some of those females who felt that Hillary should have been on the ticket no matter what. Now they are using gender to battle the Democrats. It is a shame that many women do not see through McCain's dirty tactic. Sad thing is that it might work.
Suddenly McCain & Palin are talking about bringing change to Washington, D.C. when McCain has been there well over 20 years. Sounds like they are dancing to the beat of Obama's drum.
