Enough of The Smoke & Mirrors!

I don't know about you, but I am sick and tired of all of the smoke & mirrors with the Republican Party during this presidential election. Some of us are fooled by many of the blatantly false, misleading, & inaccurate statements John McCain and the Republicans are using to derail the Obama campaign. For example, McCain & Palin keep insisting that Obama will raise taxes when this is clearly not true. Obama has never said that he will raise taxes.
McCain also has been riding on Obama's coattails by now claiming he is a man about change and the man to change Washington, D.C. Yet, he has voted with and for over 90% of Bush policies. For 30 years John McCain has been in Washington, D.C. and has truely affected no real change. What makes us think that he will change now. He has used deception (smoke) to confuse and blind us to a reality that he refuses to acknowledge. He tells us that the economy is fundamently strong. This is more smoke. Notice that whenever he doesn't want to answer a question with the truth or he wants to lie about the reality that we see clearly he uses the words fundamently. This is so as to not say straight forward that which he know to be true. Of course the basics (fundamentals) of this country's economy are strong. Yet, right now the foundation of the U.S. economy is taking a beating. If it doesn't hold up then the bottom will drop out. John is not facing the reality. He is asking people to ignore the high prices we face every day. The cost of living increases that are not being matched by our wages combined with the massive job loss are taking thier toll. The rising gas & oil prices are making owning a car a hardship. Too many people are losing thier homes. Banks and big companies are folding or on the brink of bankruptcy. McCain knows that times like these are hard on the poor and the working middle class. Yet, he would like for you to ignore it and ride it out while the rich get richer. All of the smoke is to keep you from seeing this.
Sarah Palin was picked to distract us from the real issues. Some women will follow because they think that getting a woman in the White House is more important than getting the right person (Obama) in there. They are not looking at the issues and are distracted from the real issues. Don't be caught up in the heat of the emotional moment. Use rational judgement in your choice for President.
Do you want John McCain a man known for throwing tantrums and losing his cool when he doesn't get his way. Do you want this man who cannot even express his own real opinion on any given topic or issue because he says what he thinks you want to hear and not what he really believes. He is clearly saying and doing whatever he can to win. Sarah Palin is speaking for him now because he cannot even speak well enough to get a claer message across to the masses. He has to constantly back away from his daily statements of blunders and missleading statements. Can't people see through all of this? More to come on this and related subjects!
