I am using these quotes to help me to first illustrate what it means to be a "Super Power" and second is how you can identify the true character of a person when the have been given power.
  
To understand fully what President Lincoln meant we must recall the powerful position of the United States of America while at the same time facing civil war and a divide that could weaken it.
